 DREADLOCKS, LOCS or DREADS Part1

Rope like hair strands formed by different types of methods to form dreadlocks. some of the method involve locking/interlocked, needle, freeform, natural hair twists, rip and twist or comb twisted, Back Combing and Palm rolling.  

Furthermore, there is away of dread extension installation which gradually develop into natural dreadlocks. 

Dreadlocks Origin

There is quiet a few theories about the origin of Dreadlocks and hard to establish specific dates dreads came into existence though it is claimed to have originated around 1,500BCE by researchers however its good to note that there is a connection to slavery and a representation of some of the African super-versatile hair styles. your imagination is what would limit the versatility of your dreads.

1, Freeform Dreads (NEGLECT but not NEGLECT method)

It is a process of out growing the hair and refraining from combing or bushing the hair. this does mean the hair does not et washed and therefor not dirty or messier than other hair styled. Same the use of this method requires the maintenance to give care and keep them clean an.  

2, Locking, Interlocking (Looping Method)

Pre-Sectioned Hair is inter looped until from a rope left to lock into dreadlock strand.

its also a method for maintenance of locks keeping the new growth tamed and locked a nice and  neat dread strand. the hooked is used to aid in passing the strand under the new growth to tighten the dread from root and freshening the dreadlock style every 2-3 months other leave the new growth for 6month. same way the hair is kept in good care and clean.
